At Wortzel Lab, we are committed to advancing the understanding of cancer cell communication through extracellular vesicles (EVs) and their DNA content. Our groundbreaking research sheds light on the intricate mechanisms underlying tumor–immune interactions, anti-tumor immunity, and metastatic progression. By harnessing cutting-edge genomics, imaging, and in-vivo cancer models, we aim to decode EV-DNA biology and utilize this knowledge to enhance early detection methods and develop innovative therapeutic approaches against metastasis.
